ACCOMMODATION FULL BOARD IN RESIDENCE HOUSING

Accommodation in a high school dorm (lycee Mariette in Boulogne-sur-Mer) in a green and welcoming environment, in 2-3 persons rooms, with shower and toilets on the same floor. Summer school staff is always present (day and night) in the resident hall.

Monday to Friday, breakfast is on site, lunch and dinner at the University cafeteria located in the city center. Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. The summer school does provide lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday only for juniors (-18 years old).

This type of accommodation is rather reserved for juniors. It’s also ideal for those who enjoy the dynamism and richness of a group, and meeting juniors of all nationalities, activity leaders and summer school staff.

TYPES OF ACCOMMODATION RESERVED TO ADULTS

ACCOMMODATION IN BOULOGNE-SUR-MER YOUTH HOSTEL

Accommodation in rooms for 2 persons, with bathroom and toilets in each room. The Youth Hostel is located at 15-20 minute walk from the University. Monday to Friday, breakfast is on site, lunch at the University cafeteria located in the city center. Saturday and Sunday, breakfast only (several restaurants are close by in the city center).

This type of accommodation suits well to those seeking some independence, while enjoying the opportunity to interact with the other adults of all nationalities accommodated in the Youth Hostel.

ACCOMMODATION WITH A HOST FAMILY

Since the creation of the summer school, the town of Boulogne-sur-Mer has maintained the tradition of welcoming students in host families. This option enables the student to be accommodated in an individual room and share breakfast every day with a host family. Accommodation in a family associates breakfast with the family and lunch at the University cafeteria from Monday to Friday. The summer University does not provide meals on Saturday and Sunday (several restaurants are close by in the city center).

ACCOMMODATION IN A SINGLE STUDIO APARTMENT

The studios are located in a recent university residence, in the city center and close to the University cafeteria. Each studio apartment has its own shower, toilets and a small kitchen area. A studio is for one person. The accommodation in a studio apartment includes lunch at the University cafeteria from Monday to Friday, on the University campus where the classes are organized and where you can also relax and enjoy most of the evening activities. The summer University does not provide meals on Saturday and Sunday (several restaurants are close by in the city center).

The studio apartment option does not include breakfast on any day of the week.

For the all types of accommodation, participants can move into their rooms after 2pm on the Sunday preceding the first day of class. Rooms must be vacated before 10am on the Saturday following the last day of class.
